Swansea University in UK top 10 for graduate prospects
Swansea University has been ranked in the top 10 in the UK for graduate prospects, and has maintained its number one ranking in Wales, with nearly 86% of graduates in professional level employment or further study.
The figures are from the Destination of Leavers from Higher Education (DLHE) survey. The survey is an annual collection of data that provides information on the activities of leavers from higher education gathered approximately six months after their graduation.
According to the latest survey, 85.6% of Swansea University graduates were either in professional level employment or in further study six months after graduating in July 2017, up from 82.6% last year.
When compared to universities that provide a wide range of degree courses, this places Swansea University 10th in the UK, up from 15th in 2017, based on 128 institutions as included in the Times Good University Guide 2018.
This latest achievement comes only weeks after the University was also ranked top in the UK, in the same survey, for the proportion of graduates in any form of employment or further study at 99.1%
